Client Brief
Lake Advisory, a forward-thinking advisory firm specialising in the implementation and project management of social infrastructure projects, sought a brand identity that embodied their mission. With a focus on initiatives that create a social impact, Lake Advisory collaborates with government agencies to deliver large-scale projects that build flourishing communities. Their vision required a brand that would convey their agility, problem-solving expertise, and commitment to excellence in delivering complex projects.
Challenges
The core challenge was crafting a brand identity that resonated with Lake Advisory’s primary audience—government agencies—while reflecting their unique values and tenacity. The design needed to strike a balance between professionalism and approachability, aligning with their passion for social purpose and their readiness to solve unexpected challenges. Additionally, their brand identity had to visually encapsulate their focus on collaboration and the positive impact of their work on communities.
Design Approach
D&CO Studio designed a modern and cohesive brand identity centred around a stylised “LA” logo that integrates the letters seamlessly. This emblem became the cornerstone of the brand, symbolising the interconnectedness and agility Lake Advisory brings to their projects.
The vibrant purple, paired with charcoal grey, black, and white, created a striking yet professional palette, reflecting both the brand’s boldness and its grounded expertise. Typography and design elements were selected to maintain a balance of modernity and clarity, ensuring effective communication with their target market.
D&Co Studio also developed visual and narrative components that emphasised Lake Advisory’s readiness to tackle complex challenges, their willingness to get hands-on, and their dedication to fostering flourishing communities.

The resulting brand identity powerfully communicates Lake Advisory’s ethos of collaboration, excellence, and innovative problem-solving. The stylized “LA” logo has become a visual shorthand for their adaptability and commitment, while the vibrant yet professional color palette ensures the brand stands out in their industry.
