With over 40 years of experience crafting premium coastal homes and townhouse developments, LeMaistre Builders sought a refreshed brand identity to reflect the high-end quality and bespoke nature of their work. Known for their dedication to collaborating with clients to create custom-built projects of unmatched quality, they wanted a modernised brand that embodied their legacy while aligning with their reputation for luxury and distinction.
Challenges
The challenge was to revamp LeMaistre Builders’ existing brand in a way that honoured their established heritage while introducing a contemporary and professional aesthetic. The redesign needed to elevate their visual identity to resonate with their affluent clientele, ensuring it accurately conveyed the bespoke, premium nature of their projects. Retaining elements of their original brand icon—a hand holding a hammer—was also critical, as it symbolised their craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
Design Approach
D&Co Studio modernised the original hand-and-hammer icon, refining its design to create a sleek and professional visual that reflects both tradition and innovation. The icon was paired with a clean, sans-serif typeface to add a contemporary edge, ensuring the overall design felt modern and sophisticated.
A bold cobalt blue was introduced as the primary colour to convey confidence, reliability, and a sense of modernity. This vibrant hue was balanced with black and charcoal grey, which added depth and professionalism to the palette. The combination of these colours created a striking yet understated aesthetic that aligns with the premium nature of LeMaistre Builders’ work.
The brand’s visual system was carefully crafted to emphasise quality and attention to detail, mirroring the bespoke homes they create. This included the use of minimalist layouts and refined typography, ensuring every touchpoint felt cohesive and high-end.

The refreshed brand identity positions LeMaistre Builders as a leader in the luxury coastal home and townhouse market.
