Client Brief
Spectar Group is a Melbourne-based management consultancy that specialises in Robotic Process Automation and digital transformation. They created a new product called Specia — an AI automation worker designed to act like a human employee. It performs structured, repetitive tasks such as reading emails, extracting data, adding missing information based on rules, entering data across systems, and generating reports.
The team plans for Specia to eventually replace the Spectar Group name. Because of this long-term shift, the brand identity needed a strong and future-ready foundation. It also had to show intelligence, trust and clear commercial value in a fast-moving AI market.
Challenges
The brand needed to show advanced AI capability without appearing cold or difficult to understand. It also had to appeal to a wide corporate audience. Enterprise clients want efficiency, transformation and measurable results, so the brand needed to clearly express these benefits. At the same time, it had to build emotional trust and feel approachable, especially for people who may feel unsure about AI.
Design Approach
We built the brand identity around the idea of collaborative intelligence — humans and AI working together to increase output, efficiency and scalability. The circular icon draws inspiration from a loading screen. This symbol represents progress, constant evolution and the ongoing ability of AI to learn and improve.
We used a colour gradient of coral, violet and prussian blue to show movement, connection and the transition between human thinking and digital automation. The typography is modern, friendly and easy to read. It reflects Specia’s goal of being a supportive, intuitive and human-aligned AI partner.
Outcome
The final identity is bold, modern and easy to recognise. It clearly communicates the future of automation and positions Specia as more than a tool — it becomes a true digital workforce.
The system is cohesive, scalable and ready to support the long-term shift from Spectar Group to Specia as the lead brand. It gives the company a confident visual foundation for trust, growth and strong differentiation in the AI automation space.
