Client Brief
Taltarni Wines sought a design that encapsulates their ethos: “Respecting Our Land. Reflecting our Place.” The project required a visual identity that mirrors their organic viticulture practices and profound respect for the land. The design needed to emphasize their commitment to conservation and custodianship, highlighting the significance of their site where the majority of their grapes are cultivated. Taltarni Wines wanted to convey their narrative of creating wines that seamlessly blend drinkability with desirability, all while redefining wine sophistication, enjoyment, and legacy.
Design Approach
D&Co Studio embarked on this project with a deep understanding of Taltarni Wines’ values and heritage. We developed a topographic pattern inspired by the Taltarni site, visually representing the vineyard’s unique landscape and the integral role it plays in their winemaking process. Our approach was to craft a timeless and enduring typographic style that symbolizes Taltarni’s rich heritage and forward-thinking vision. We opted for a neutral color palette that complements the vineyard’s natural beauty and organic philosophy.
The design aimed to communicate a new legacy of conservation and custodianship, encapsulating the potential and richness of the land. We focused on creating an aesthetic that honors the land’s legacy and the winery’s continuous quest for excellence. By incorporating elements that reflect Taltarni’s dedication to the land, we emphasized their philosophy of producing wines that are not only desirable and drinkable but also rooted in a deep respect for the environment.
Outcome
The resulting design for Taltarni Wines is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, capturing the essence of their brand philosophy. The topographic pattern brings the vineyard to life, showcasing the unique terrain that nurtures their vines. The timeless typography and neutral color palette convey a sense of enduring heritage and sophistication, aligning perfectly with Taltarni’s vision of redefining wine enjoyment and legacy.
Our design successfully reflects Taltarni Wines’ commitment to respecting and preserving their land, while also highlighting their innovative approach to viticulture.
