Introduction
D&Co Studio was entrusted with the task of crafting the brand identity for TriLending. TriLending is not just another mortgage broking business. They serve as personal financial navigators, committed to simplifying the lending process and guiding clients towards achieving their goals.
Client Brief
The goal was to design a brand that encapsulates TriLending, reflecting both the essence of the company and the personality of its founder, Paddy Dwyer. The name itself is a clever play on words, combining “tri” representing the three main areas of finance the company deals with (commercial, residential, and asset finance), and “lending,” which encapsulates the core service offered by the brokerage firm.
Design Approach
The use of triangles or designs featuring three main elements within the brand icon directly ties into the concept of “tri” in TriLending. This visual element not only reinforces the brand’s name but also conveys a sense of completeness and unity, highlighting the holistic approach the company takes towards financial solutions.
Incorporating Paddy’s passion for triathlons into the brand identity adds a personal touch and creates a deeper connection with the audience. By symbolising Paddy’s dedication to giving his best in both his personal pursuits, professional endeavours and Paddy’s passion for triathlons, the brand becomes more relatable and memorable.
The number three holds significance beyond just representing the three areas of finance. It also signifies balance, harmony, and stability, qualities that are desirable in the financial industry. Additionally, it suggests a comprehensive range of services offered by TriLending, catering to diverse needs across different sectors.
The choice of colours and fonts complements the brand’s identity and evoke the right emotions. For example, the combination of bold, professional fonts and the sophisticated colour palette conveys trustworthiness and expertise, qualities crucial in the financial sector.
