The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life.

There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. Within the next five years the NDIS will provide an estimated 500,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.

NDIA approached D&Co Studio to assist with the development of multiple pieces of communication to be communicated externally and well as internally across various departments within NDIA.

Due to the ongoing nature of the projects completed for the NDIA, the team at D&Co developed a complex understanding of the principles of accessible design for people with disability (eg. colour contrast, font size, spacing, active vs passive images, etc).

We are proud to support agencies such as NDIA who assist those in our larger community to be the best they can be.
